Rue des Acacias: The street owes its name to the presence of a former acacia plantation.

It is one of the oldest streets in the neighborhood. Roland Garros lived here, and it was also on this street that a new kind of press was born: Salut les copains, Lui, Mademoiselle Âge Tendre… All the big stars of the yé-yé era—Johnny Hallyday, Sylvie Vartan, Jacques Dutronc, Françoise Hardy, Claude François, Sheila—found their first public image here. It was in this studio that Daniel Filipacchi, a senior reporter for Paris Match, and Jean-Marie Périer created legends.
